I got a Kodak Instamatic camera for my 8th birthday and started taking pictures of everything. Looking back at some of those early photos, it's a wonder that my parents never went and hid the camera on me!

I was looking to take a nice, easy elective one year at college and stumbled along a photography class, with darkroom time and everything. Who'd of thought it would have had such a lasting impact.

When I moved to Delaware in 1980, I heard about the annual Philly Hero Show and headed up to Philly, camera in hand... I ended up wishing I had taken along more rolls of film! Ever since then I've tried to schedule day trips, weekend getaways or my vacations to coincide with other Law Enforcement events -- and take the camera along.

Over the years I have taken literally hundreds of rolls of pictures... and most of them are stuffed away in shoe boxes and a handful of photo albums. I finally decided that it was time to find a good home for some of those pics and started giving copies to the officers --- they really appreciated the gesture, and I found a new favorite hobby.

Ten8 Photography is the next logical step... turning my hobby into a small business that caters to the Law Enforcement Community.
